Object description

image: a heavily annotated sketch showing a Turkish transport ship sinking in progressive stages. At the top the ship is shown listing slightly to the stern end, with a Royal Navy destroyer to the left, HMS Blenheim to the right and a small vessel approaching to pick up personnel from the sinking ship. There are three further sketches below showing the ship sinking further beneath the water until it completely disappears in the sketch at the bottom.

Physical description

Copy pencil drawing adhered in all corners to a primary mount, which in turn is adhered in all corners to a secondary card mount with another mounted drawing Art.IWM ART 4360 below it. Perforated down left edge.
