Object description

image: A reconstruction of the sinking of the Royal Navy light cruiser HMS Fiji near Crete in the Mediterranean. HMS Fiji is shown starboard side on, with her bow under the surface of the water as she sinks. The scene is viewed from the deck of HMS Kingston, with personnel on deck. Survivors are in the water and in lifeboats, one of which is being unloaded alongside HMS Kingston.
