The Expeditionary Forces Institute organising supplies in Tunisia. NAAFI Day at the Headquarters of the 36th Infantry Brigade near Sloughia. Some of the new supplies in use. The 6th Battalion, Royal West Kents firing 6 pounder anti-tank guns under the instruction of the Glasgow Yeomanry near Teboursouk, Tunisia.

A lorry arriving at the Number 14 Bulk Issue Supply, Royal Army Service Corps at Le Krib, with supplies from the port of Bône. RASC men unload the crates of supplies from the lorry and carry them to the warehouse. Reverend E Elworthy of the 5th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment gives his order to the order desk. A corporal studies the supply stand of goods. An officer checks an order as assistants bring out goods from the store. The officers plead with the sergeant in charge (Sergeant Parnell from Peterborough) for more whisky. An array of chocolate, whisky, lime juice, toffees and matches. A clerk counts a bundle of French notes. Captain G L Neate of the 11th Infantry Brigade Ordnance Field Park and Private J J Churchill carry a box of goods out to their truck. The officer lifts a bottle of whisky out of his coat and puts it in the truck. Troops queuing up outside the cookhouse. Stores are laid out on makeshift tables. Company Sergeant Major Ernest Fryer (from Maidstone) serves out the goods. Sergeant Knight walks away with supplies, smiling. A queue of laughing faces. The Sergeant Major serving behind the counter. A razor and the lathered face of Lance Corporal Harry Wicken, a RASC driver from Woolwich, as he uses a new razor blade. There is a broken mirror fixed onto a tent pole and blankets hanging out to air in the background. A brush is dipped in tooth powder. Lance Corporal Wicken brushes his teeth. A brush is dipped into shoe polish and a boot is polished. The smiling face of Private Jock Crookshank from Woking, Surrey. A sock is rubbed with soap by Sergeant Cliff Bourne from Market Harborough. He lifts the sock up from a tin basin. A writing pad and envelopes. Private Harry Harris from Forest Hill, London writes a letter home. Men at their posts on the gun. The gun layer shouts "On!" and the detachment commander orders "Fire!" The gun fires. The detachment run to their gun at the Take Post order and get the gun on target. The instructor is Major J B Hamilton-Maikle, Royal Artillery. View from the rear of the gun being fired. Captain C W Granda of the Canadian Regiment Le Regiment Maisonneuve watches the firing through binoculars. As a direct hit is scored by his section of the Royal West Kents he waves his arms in excitement. The ammunition number kneels at his post behind the gun, ready to feed it with the next shell.
