I. Shots of Short 184 and Felixstowe flying boat. Medium shot aft down portside of HMS Furious over 5.5-inch gun to searchlight position as a signal is flashed. Harbour scene. Close-up as Sub-Lieutenant takes a bearing - the braid on his cuff is loose. Long shot off starboard quarter of an Erebus Class monitor. Long shots of Felixstowe flying boat alighting in a harbour, and formation of HP 0/400 bombers in flight. Aerial views of airfields. II. RNAS station at Felixstowe. Sequence showing visiting senior officer - he gets into waiting staff car. Seafront. RNAS pilot relives a combat with fellow flying officers. Men carry a stripped aircraft fuselage from a hangar - this is followed by the damaged fuselage of Short 184 No 8098. Men work capstan to open hangar doors. Pilots wait at edge of airstrip.
