Eminent specialist in war surgery, who has been awarded Kriegsverdienstkreuz with Swords for pioneering advances in medicine, lectures to audience of medical students, many of them in Luftwaffe and Army uniform. Professor Sauerbruch (Director since 1928 of Berlin's Charité University Surgical Clinic) then stands over patient in operating theatre.

III. Reichsarbeitsdienst school for female special leaders. Young women stand in spoked circle round flagpole flying RAD flag in courtyard of school, where they receive training in mind and body for their new careers in the Führerinnenkorps as Sonderführerinnen. Girls sit in classroom with map on board, and practise eurythmics with balls outdoors, as well as run cross-country, performing both activities to the rhythm of a drumbeat. Education in practical domestic skills includes distinguishing between edible and poisonous mushrooms, washing, ironing, putting clothes away neatly (sloppy girl is promptly corrected) and applying a bandage to an arm. Two of many girls who are learning country skills are seen arriving at a farmyard, crisply saluting the farmer's wife who responds with a tired gesture, then learning rabbit care and harvesting tomatoes and apples.

Outside a building marked NSKK - MB1 Dessau, youths learn about the mechanism of the Sturmboot motor (1939) then have practical experience fitting the outboard motor to assault craft and speeding along river before landing and rushing ashore.

V. Luftwaffe ground troops raid Russian lines in Leningrad sector. Animated map of Leningrad sector. Men of Luftwaffen-Feld-Division stand on lookout, while others, equipped with stick grenades, spend last few minutes before start of attack calmly smoking cigarettes and pipes and smiling at camera. Artillery fire opens attack, with shells exploding in shattered wood, before assault troops go forward and destroy Soviet bunker by detonating charges. Preliminary reconnaissance is carried out by impressed Panhard 178, after road wheel tyres have been changed for flanged steel wheels to enable it to run on rails. Camera tracks with armoured car through area reportedly infested with partisans until contact is established with enemy, turret traversed and 2.5cm gun fired. Armoured train is called up by wireless and reaches open area with woods in distance, which are shelled and strafed by 10.5cm gun and 2cm Flakvierling. Infantry emerge from thrown-open doors of armoured wagons, advance through wood and return with four Russians with their hands up, driven out from cover and "captured in cooperation with the Security Service and Security Police (not seen)". Car decorated with plaque "Congratulations to our commander and his wireless operator on their 1500th and 1200th enemy flights" awaits return to Bolshoya Kostromka airfield (50 kilometres south-east of Krivoi Rog) of Rudel and Oberfeldwebel Hentschel, who pause in Ju 87 to be congratulated by General der Flieger Pflugbeil (IV Fliegerkorps) and Geschwader Kommodore Major Stepp, and photographed (by PK photographer Leutnant Gervais). On ground Rudel holds Geschwader mascot of white pig before receiving the formal congratulatory handshake from Pflugbeil and a wrapped parcel (containing celebration cake).

Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (23353) lies belly-landed in field; elsewhere dead US aircrew in field, with blazing aircraft wreckage in background, support claim that most crews pay with their lives for terror attacks against German women and children. RAF bombers also lie wrecked in countryside; wrecked fuselage of one is object of interest to women and children sightseers in wood. So-called Flying Fortresses are now said to be Flying Coffins. Another bomber lies wrecked next to a Flak searchlight position.
