14 ms letters written to his parents, May 1939 - December 1941, dealing with family matters but also describing some of his experiences as an RAF bomber pilot including his training at the Reserve Training School, Perth, May 1939 and at No 4 FTS RAF Abu-Sueir, Egypt, August 1939 and RAF Habbaniya, Iraq, September 1939 - January 1940, and his active service with No 211 Squadron RAF in Egypt, September 1940, and Greece, March 1941, and with No 84 Squadron, RAF, in Iraq, September - October 1941, and in Egypt, December 1941; together with an Air Ministry telegram announcing his death, April 1942, three letters of condolence from his friends, his Commission, and a Certificate recording his name in the Brighton Book of Remembrance.
